Fax without a land line? Can I do it?

I have a fax/scanner/printer/copy machine, but I don't have a land line. Is there anyway that I can scan the document I need to fax and then use some place online that is free to actually fax it? (I am trying to avoid the $4 fee Office Max charges.)

There are plenty email to fax servers out there, but all want you to sign upto a contract for so much per month, If you simply need a one of, it's not so much use.
