Why do some of us have a problem with black men who date outside their race? Why do you show so much hatred toward that couple? Are you jealous? What are you angry about considering that particular black man is not YOUR man, why do you care about what some other person is doing? How does that impede on your life? Why do you feel the need to scorn the black men that do?
I'm simply playing devil's advocate?

Neenah: That is a really pathetic excuse. From the outside looking in? Everything looks rosy from the outside. Who are you that anyone has to justify why they are with someone? White men will not marry ONLY successful black women, I am a college student & my ex is an entrepreneur making six figures, the same for my current boyfriend who is white, I was engaged to my ex which I broke off (he had jealousy issues) and my current wants to move w/ me when I go Law School.

I have dated black women and the biggest problems I have ever had was with black men calling her a "sell out" or other things like that. They figured I had money or something. I didn't have any moey. She made more than me at the time.

The reason why black women tend to be a little upset about this, is because, from the outside looking in it seems that your relationship is flawless. It looks like you're treating her much better than you ever would a black woman, so that's where the jealousy comes in. The other thing is, why are you with a white woman when there are so many successful black women who are single and looking for a man? Do you know that white men will only marry successful black women and the rest they consider a bed mate. I don't care whether the woman is of another race or not, I just feel like I'm better than them all so you should be with me.

Well it annoys some people because if it were the other way around that SAME black guy with the white girlfriend would get mad. They don't want black girls to date interracially so i'm sure some get mad at the doublestandard. I personally don't really care.

I really don't care who a black man dates. And he shouldn't care who I date.
My issue is when they have to justify it by saying "I date white/asian/hispanic women because black women are (insert negative stereotype here)"
or justify it period if you want to be with someone, it shouldn't matter what ANYONE thinks.

lol. i like this question. they're just jealous and mad because the guy doesnt want them. these are probably the type that sit home and wait for that good black man to come around only to find out that he's taken or not interested in them.

It's jealousy.
Personally I could care less. I've dated all races of men and women and there are good and bad for all of them, etc. blah blah blah.
