yes you can get msn on it. and you down even have to install it. you can just go on http://www.e-messenger.net/ and go on msn online.

I have bought a macbook about a month ago. Mac Messenger sucks. Best option, IMHO, is to download adium x . Fully customisable, sinkable and programmable MSN client which allows u to connect to all of ur contacts from MSN, yahoo, AOL and other on one contact list. Only downside is no web cam support.

Ignore what everyone else says - there is a proper, official MSN client for the mac:

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/default.aspx?pid=msnmessenger

If you want to use another client to access MSN, I recommend Adium. It handles everything from MSN to AIM and Yahoo! The next version will even be able to handle MySpace IM!

Good luck with the mac!

http://www.amsn-project.net/ give you the best MSN access on a mac. (better than the Microsoft MSN client)

iChat gives you the best AIM.

Yahoo works, barely, no voice.

I think you can get MSN but not such a modern version as Live.
