Drawing is an excellent hobby because you can do it anywhere, anytime. All you need is a small amount of materials and enough light to see. I paint but don't draw much. When I am in airports or sitting on the side lines of my children's class or having a spare evening during my office trips, I wish I could utilize the time drawing. My daughter just brings out her sketch book, paper and her pencils and off she is creating her cartoons.
Another advantage is that it is a good way to capture memories, create material for paintings etc.

Being able to draw is a blessed issue. I always regret on why cant i get to draw. Drawing is a feeling you can express. It tells how much attention and concentration you have. It also gives you confidence and patience.

It's one of the best ways to attract babes I can think of. If you're a girl, then it's one of the best ways to attract guys. Take it from a pro. If you can draw, and draw well, you'll have them climbing all over you.

You can be expressive.
No one can tell you what to draw, nor can they tell you what your drawing is of poor quality, look at Pablo Picasso, he changed the way art is now looked at, considered.
Even childrens artworks of scribbles can be heartwarming =)

It helps to train the artistic "eye" & general ability, it can be done just about anywhere very cheaply, & during work meetings you can look busy.
