I am 17 and pregnant. I am due Septemeber 28th. I am very uncomfertable now-a-days and my doctor said the baby is ready to come at any second. I want to have this child now. i'm done being pregnant.. I am giving this child up for adoption. but, anyways, I have a doctors apt the 21st of sept. so I guess that's tomorrow. Can I just ask them if there is anything to enduce labor, or can I just ask them to take it out? I tried walking, running, stairs, and sex.. all it does is cause pain and lots of wetness.. but no labor!! any ideas.. please don't say ask a doctor . i want to ask on here before running to the doctor. so I dont sound stupid asking them to take this kid out!

Wow, the pregnancy and the birth is the easy part! I know I have four. Anyway I think you should wait. The baby will come when it's ready. I don't think you should be trying to induce it. You don't sound like you care about the child at all. I know you're giving it up for adoption but you still should care. I don't think you should be running this far into your pregnancy either.
I was adopted and I hope my birth mother didn't talk about me like you do your baby. It really is sad.

Labor can be induced with medication but. it makes the labor pain worse.
You are feeling like every woman at this stage of pregnancy .
I am happy to hear that you are being a big enough person to give this baby a loving home and a better start in life .
I hope you will hang in there for another week--it's so hard !
You have the right idea about walking ,just don't over do it save some energy for the delivery room .

If you have a doctor's appointment tomorrow just wait until then..it's just a day. It's really responsible of you to give the child up for adoption and make sure your child has a good life!! :)) I doubt if they will induce before the due date, they usually don't... and if you are due any day now, I wouldn't do too much exercise because you will just strain yourself and hurt yourself and possibly the baby.. however, it might just push you into labor so if you do do those things I would do it in moderation so you don't hurt you or the baby. Good luck to you!! :)

What your feeling is normal. I am 24 and had a kid at 22..the last weeks and days are hell. I wanted mine out too already because I had to walk to the doctor, I had to stop a lot. My baby was 9.5 pounds! So just wait it out. A lot of women during the last days are ready to have it taken out already. Just wait it out.

please dont say "take this kid out"...
i'm glad u opted for adoption.. there really are a lot of people trying to b parents, and cant..
okay i'm done preaching:
my son was two days late and it was awful trying to sit there and be happy even tho my baby hadnt come yet! if you've tried all that other stuff already, i'm not sure what other advice to give you. Tell your doctor that you're feeling extremely uncomfortable.. and he may go ahead an induce. after all , it's just a week away.

Have you tried Castor oil? 2oz followed by OJ or root beer? You'll probably be on the toilet for a while, but it put me into labor when my doctor wanted to induce me... Most doctors are sympathetic to their patients needs, so you could talk to them about induction, but the pain is worse and there are risks. I had my first baby at 17 so I know where you are right now with not being comfortable. :)
Since your baby can't express it's gratitude let me just say Thanks for choosing adoption instead of abortion.

I just wanted to say God bless you for giving your child up for adoption as opposed to aborting him/her and depriving him the chance at life. Best of luck to you.
