First of all, why in the world would anyone want to "hack" into your Hotmail account? Don't be paranoid.

Second, how could "someone" have "changed the password", unless you gave it to them? (granted, hackers might be able to do so, but, re-read the question, above).

Third, if you have not used the Hotmail account in 120 days, then it would "expire", and you're out of luck. You claim it's the "most important one", but that doesn't necessarily mean that you check it every day.

Fourth, people are sick and tired of hearing such nonsense, especially when it's prefaced by phrases like "don't be mean and crass", which indicates that you are doing this precisely to get that very reaction.

Fifth, the net is rife with such questions, so search for an answer via your favorite search engine.

If it is so important, why didn't you write down the security question? But, if you can't get in and you're sure it hasn't expired, then the only thing you can do is try to guess random passwords and see if it works. Sorry, you're out of luck. The only thing to do is start a new email account and email all of your contacts telling them your new email and what happened. And not to accept email from the old email. Remember your passwords and security questions or this is what happens.

if you don't know the password or the relevant information you need to change the password then you unfortuntely are out of luck. Hotmail support will not change it for you without that information. Not being crass, just the truth.
