I do it all the time because:
A] I like pretty pictures.
B ] I'm a nerd.
C] I do something creative on my site with it.

I enjoy all the different creative, imaginative avatars but I've never thought of saving one and if I did I wouldn't know what to do with it!

Actually, they're so tiny that I can barely see them. I rarely look at avatars.
Instead, I focus on the question. I pay attention to well-written and/or intriguing ones. I'm beginning to pass up questions that can be answered with a simple search;
So, it's the question, not the teensy picture that catches my attention.

I would be lying if I said no. I have saved a few. But have recently deleted them. I have no other use for them if not to use them here. And I rather not look like everyone else. That's why I don't use the cartoon ones. Apart from not wanting a cartoon to represent me.

No I don't save it. I consider it the property of the person using it. I do enjoy them though

no, i don't save it. the only time i right click it is if i need to enlarge it to see exactly what i'm looking at.
