How do i connect my boombox speakers to my computer?

i have speakers with the black (-) and red (+) cables connected to my speakers of course, but i want to be able to connect them to my Lenovo T61 laptop. any help?

U need an amplifier first
Headphone out from laptop to LINE IN on amplifier
Speaker out on amp to speakers.

laptop sound card DOES NOT have enough juice to drive "real speakers"

That's why PC shops sell "Amplified speakers"
