I'm not sure if they have family rooms, but I expect so. I stayed here with my mum years ago and we then went back regularly, its got real charm, not like a chain hotel and it was always quite reasonably priced.
Happy hols!
Edward Lear Hotel

You could try the Citadines chain... they are more studio type apartments with kitchenettes, so you're not paying extra for the terrible breakfast... There's one close to Traf Square too..

Also the Club Quarters chain is also similar, with family rooms.. you have to book their rooms through a supplier like Hotel Desk or Expedia..

Travelodge places are cheap but soul less... Try lastminute.com too

try radissonedwardian.com - they have 10 properties in London, a lot central for not obscene prices. Nice hotels too and pretty hot on service! If money is no object - the ritz or the dorchester, quite simply, the dogs!

Travel Lodge Covent Garden has a family room for £95 for that night.
You won't get more central for the price
