Alone and quite happy about it. If I ever feel lonely there's a cheap bar right around the corner. I get the pick of the litter at closing time.

I live on my own, and if I'm in a certain mood I get lonely. But if that happens I just go out, or call a friend and talk for a while. That usually helps. But after 2 years of being on my own I've really come to enjoy my alone time. I keep busy with my own interest. I like video games, movies, drawing reading things like that. If you keep your mind distracted you don't get so lonely.

Yes. Well, not exactly, I have 3 cats. I prefer to live on my own, though. Humans are too unpredictable. I can do whatever I want, watch tv all night long if I want to, walk around the house naked if I feel like it, dance all crazy when I get the urge, don't have to clean up after anyone but myself and the cats, and nobody bugs me. It is never lonely, because I can always vist my friends and family if I need some companionship or invite them over for lunch or to watch a movie. I have a pretty darn good life on my own!

I have 2 dogs and a boyfriend. But he has to go away for work sometimes (hes a commercial diver) - sometimes for months at a time, and while the dogs are good to have around, it still gets lonely.

Living alone since splitting with fiancee ... who was only at my place for 4 or 5 nights a week anyway because of her kids.
And NO it's not lonely, the only place I am alone is when at home, and I'm very rarely there unless it's to sleep or eat.

Yes, I live on my own. But I am never alone I have two cats and two dogs and a huge garden full of life forms. Recently separated and am in no hurry to socialize with people. Going to live selfishly for a while at least. See my kids occasionally when they are not at university (far removed from my home).

I love living alone. If I get lonely, I call up a friend for dinner or drinks.

I love living on my own. For the time being I'm lonely because my partner in crime isn't here

I'm not but if I were, I would definitely get lonely and need some kind of interaction with people.
My suggestion is to live with friends as roommates and define the level of interaction you have.
