I have been offered Drew Brees, Rudi Johnson, and Marques Colston.

I would have to trade Donovan McNabb, Steve Smith, and Marion Barber III.

I thought about countering the offer as well. What do you all think?

Alright, you take the trade and here is why. Brees is PROVEN and has been doing it for 3 years in a row, while McNabb is on his way out the door losing 6 of his last 7 games in which he has started. Johnson is a starter that catches the ball out of the backfield while Barber is only getting a few goaline carries a game and isnt a guarantee to see the endzone when they do get to the redzone (the T.O. factor). Obviously Steve Smith is a better reciever but he is injury prone and on a struggling offense. Colston team is struggling too but at least you are getting a young healthy up and coming star. Take the trade.

You would be losing out on this deal.

Comparing it position by position.

McNabb vs Brees - Both are having their problems, but McNabb has been doing better thus far. Stick with McNabb.

Smith vs Colston - Smith will always put up more.

Johnson vs Barber - Johnson is guarenteed to do well, however, Barber isn't bad either and if Dallas ever wises up and stops with the splitbacks, Barber will do wonders.

Do it. Now. Before McNabb confesses that his injury isn't fully healed. He looks immobile. It's only a matter of time.

Rudi Johnson is a tremendous improvement over committee back Barber.

Smith is the only one I wouldn't want to lose, but Colston is no scrub.

Don't do it. The reasons given are great, and J.Jones is not playing well. Expect Barber to pick up more of the load.
I'm guessing the other guys motive is to get SS. I would counter DM and MB for DB and MC. See what he does with that.

I'm losing my faith in Donovan each week that goes by. Still, Steve Smith is a valuable asset, he'll put up numbers no other WR can. Keep him.

No deal

Eek. No way I'd give up Smith and Barber.

Good luck!
