"I think I got a B in Econ 101."
- GWB, 9/20/2007

His Yale transcript says otherwise.
Look closely and you'll find his grade was a 71 or 72...

All who voted for this C- student, kindly raise your hands.
Thanks!

Yeah, he got the C- AFTER daddy bought off his teachers.

It explains a lot.

Actually, he was a C+ student. Look at his entire transcript over the course of his years at Yale. If I remember correctly, his final GPA was a 78.

I bet you voted for Kerry. His final GPA at Yale was 76. I bet you did not know that, did you? A C student. What did he get in economics? What did Gore get in economics at Haaaaarvud? He studied Journalism. I bet Gore did not even take Economics and that explains his strange plans during the Clinton administration to tax us all on energy consumption.

P.S: My hand is raised! Econ is hard to grasp at first. Bush likely took this class when he was 18. Nobody really gets this just out of high school.

Whats your point?
It is common knowledge that in the USA Statistics on Business the following applies:

A students become Doctors/ Lawyers
B students end up working for C students

ANd Yes I Did VOTE for Bush! and am also a C student. and have numerous B and A students that work for me.

Barbara Striesand was the first to point out that Bush was a C student.

Barbara Striesand barely made it out of Erasmus High in Brooklyn and when she did, she went directly to work in a gay bar.

Bush was a C student AT YALE.

I bet we would all have some fun looking over your transcript.

Anyone who goes to college knows that grades are given via letter grade not numerical average. Also they would know that your numeric average doesn't directly influence you letter grade as grades are curved and are a comparison of the grades of the other students in you class...........

Who gives a damn what grade he got in college?
You make way too much of someone getting a C. At least he WENT to college. He's done a damned sight more than most of the populations of the US and Canada.
Get off the "he only got a (insert grade here)"

So you expect that someone remembers their grade from a single class taken some 40 years before? Dude, you are really reaching with this one.

Well frankly if you asked me what I made in a class back in high school, I would have a very hard time, especially if it was a class that I was not particularly interested in or was not particularly interesting.

And for all those who think this kind of questioning is of any value, please raise your hands. The nun will be around shortly with a ruler to smack your knuckles.

All who voted for Kerry, who had even lower grades, raise *your* hands.

Tool.

Actually his grade wasn't a B or a C- ---------it was a 71. Who's to say that a 71 isn't an A, a B, or a C at Harvard. And would you remember what your grade in a particular subject was 40 years ago?

Weren't Kerry's grades lower. Hmmm.
