If you could e-mail me a pic of the difference, I could give you a much more educated answer.

Go see the dr ,

It is often the case that one breast develops earlier and faster than the other, especially if puberty occurs very early on, say at 11 or 12, but now you could find that there is very little change.

When one breast is significantly smaller than the other, the condition is known medically as Poland's syndrome.

It can be corrected through cosmetic surgery to make the breasts symmetrical. The operation can be carried out on the NHS because it constitutes much more than a cosmetic operation for reasons of vanity only.

As regards the aches and pains you are getting, I suspect this is the result of continued hormonal stimulation on the left side or possibly of fluid retention which tends to occur pre-menstrually.

It could feasibly be due to some joint pains in the rib-breast bone junction caused by the breast asymmetry, too.

Either way, I think you should see your own doctor to discuss your worries, have an examination and discuss all the possible treatment options.

You needn't feel embarrassed or shy, but if you do, take a friend or your mother with you.

Mine were VERY uneven until I turned 32, so ignore the "you'll even out" answers. They only got even at age 32 because I got a breast reduction

You could grow into your 20's so you might not be done yet.

If you have complaints about back pain and other health issues you could have a reduction covered by insurance.

Usually doctors won't operate on someone under 18 BUT there ARE exceptions. I know 15 year olds who have it done.

Check out this site:

It is very informative.

FYI reductions DO NOT leave "horrible scars", mine are barely noticeable.

I have exactly the same problem, there's so much difference that it seems the other one'll never catch up and the small one doesn't seem to have grown at all since I started puberty.

At someone's party a girl pointed it out really loudly so that everyone heard and I almost died of embarrassment (and boys are always making stupid comments about this kind of thing anyway!) And my sister makes fun of me all the time about it, just make sure you're armed with something heavy to take a good swipe at her with!

But everyone says that they do even out eventually and the best way to deal with it for now is just filling the other cup up with something nice and soft, to make it less noticable.

But don't worry about it, almost EVERYONE is lopsided, some just do a better job of hiding it than others ;)

Boys that laugh over one boob being bigger than the other are just plain immature. Couple's cope after mastectomies (admittedly with devices that make it look like there is another bob there).

If people are shallow to treat you differently cause your boobs are uneven, you need to find more mature people to keep company with.

I severely doubt that a mature man is going to dump or reject you cause of this.

First of all, how old are you? If your're still growing than they will probably even out. If you're older and you're done growing than understand that this is a problem a lot of women have. All women's breasts are different sizes, but in some women the difference is more prominent.
If it bothers you so much then talk to someone about surgery. Hope this helps.

If it's less than 1-cups size difference, It some what normal.
If the difference is greater than one cup size, talk with your doctor about all the possibilities before you decide to get the surgery. It just might be a condition that your doctor can treat, like hormone in-balance.

Best of luck to you!

This is more common than you think.
Some women balance out after their first child and others, depending on the difference in size, can afford to have them balanced.
Either way, they do their job and you can always pad the smaller one.
If your sister is younger, remind her nicely that it is in the genes.
PS Older you are, less aggervations you get especially from 'Boys'.

It's normal for one to be slightly bigger than the other (I think it's usually the left one that's bigger). But how much bigger are you talking about?? I wouldn't worry about what those stupid kids do, they're obviously stupid....but you could always put padding in your bra if it really bothers you. But it's normal, and depending on how old you are, they might still grow to eventually even out, so yeah~

I hope you are wearing a bra. If you are you might want to look into getting a better one that covers the whole breast instead of just part of it. It should all even out in the end. Give it some time. Best wishes.

That's normal for a lot of women. There are prosthetics or inserts that can be worn in your bra on the smaller side. The other alternative is that once you have finished growing, see a plastic surgeon.
