Last that I checked, most people say in their "vows", "till death do us part". The idea of a marriage having an expiration date, is ridiculous. It seems to me that it'd be just another way for the government to get money out of me to "renew" my marriage certificate. Also, marriage shouldn't be easy to get out of. It shouldn't be entered into lightly. It's not something you can just decide to opt out of in a few years, ya know. At least it shouldn't be!

the classic Celts have been doing that 3000 years in the past. Pre Christian societies for the main area observed marriage as a criminal fairly than a non secular rely, and the correct contracts must be drawn in what ever way maximum suitable appropriate the human beings in touch. traditionally, marriages that expired and had to be renewed, alongside with same intercourse marriages, plural marriages (the two polyandry and polygyny), line marriages, open marriages, and others, have all been used effectively in numerous cultures by the international. Heterosexual lifelong monogamy is definitely between the least effective forms of marriage ever tried, as shown by the charges of infidelity and divorce on each occasion that is been socially everyday. under the Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam females have been customarily seen sources, and a time-honored marriage grow to be incredibly a flow of sources, the female, from her present day proprietor, her Father, to a sparkling proprietor, her Husband, for this reason, interior the pronouncement, he remained a guy yet she grew to become a spouse. that still is why all her sources in the present day grew to become his, and chastity grow to be so significant, no guy needed to possibility naming yet another mans son as his inheritor. the yankee criminal gadget grow to be in keeping with British user-friendly regulation, which grow to be in turn in keeping with centuries of Catholic Doctrine, however the modern equivalent rights strikes have been slowing changing marriage back to that is classic type. that is severe high quality to work out old formed values making a comeback.

Actually, this reminds me of I believe a Wicken Marriage ceremony where a couple would spend a year together and at the end of the year they would have the chance to renew their bond to each other.

Why not just assume that when you get married it is forever? If marriage is for only 7 years, that makes marriages disposable.

I realize that it is an easy out but I can't say that I'm against it.
I am against weight restrictions for either party.
