The easiest way is to use CSS and DIVS, here is a great website that will generate the code and CSS, just put in the colors and the radius of the corners. you may need to change some CSS such as sizes to suit your needs, but works great with no images! http://www.spiffycorners.com/

Yeah, give your points to the answers above, but just so's you'll know, the two ways are either (1) creating divs with background colors matching a top bar with a curved northwest corner background-image plus bar going across the top, intersecting a nortwest corner curved image (and like this for the bottom)...or (2) css properties -moz-outline-radius-xxx defining the corners (or -webkit-outline-radius for Safari) but these two are limited to just specific browsers, moan, cry
