I've got Zubrus, Erat, and Chris Clark on the bench, and I'm thinking about dropping one of them for one of these rookies: Toews, Backstrom (C), and Kane. All 3 rookies are free agents right now in my league. What do you think? Am I gonna be kicking myself in a couple of months for not picking up one of these guys in order to hold on to the likes of Martin Erat?

I wouldn't pick Kane. He's too young to be predictable. Toews and Backstrom have more experience in international play and professional play in the minors or abroad, which will result in better NHL numbers their first year. In any case, SOME rookie is going to be good for 70 points or more. Backstrom and Toews are the two most likely ones. Either of them will be better than Erat, that is for sure. Good luck!
