i had bloating of stomach for about one month.
i thought i might be pregnant, so i took a test, but came out negative. so i went to see a doctor as this bloating is uncomfortable, it makes my stomach look so big.
as it was not pregnancy, so i told the doctor it might be gas. the doctor checked and said that there was alot of gas in my tummy.
he gave me pills.
but the bloating has not subside.
what may be the other cause of bloating?

There are many sources of gas. Experiment with changes in your diet to try to figure out the source.

Many people these days are lactose intolerant. Lactose is a sugar found in milk (and therefore all milk products) and many people lack the ability to digest it properly which results in gas, bloating, and diarrhea. You can buy a non-prescription pill that will help digest milk products or you can just avoid milk products alltogether.

Maybe a good place to start would be back to your Dr and have him refer you to a Gynnie for further tesing....insist on all tests pertinent to your particular problem and not over look anything at all to rule out instead of figure out....good luck...this is important.

that happened to me when I became lactose intolerant, try cutting all dairy products out of your diet. Peppermint herbal tea will often help a lot with excess gas.

I would keep a diary on what you eat every day - if you notice that some days are worse than others look back at your diary and see if there is a common food you eat on those days.
