Spiderman believes that with great power comes great responsibliity. This means that he feels morally obligated to help others. Thiss was the biggest leson the Peter took from his Uncle Ben. Superman on the other hand believes that he needs to help people because he was taught that a person should all ways help others. Both of the heroes believe that life is sacrid and will try not to kill.

i agree with David p
peter Parker learned the hard way that all things are connected
when he let the robber go because he wanted a small bit of revenge against the show owner he lost something dear to him, his uncle
with great power comes great responsibility
but as for superman he was raised with good wholesome values
he is just a boyscout as batman puts it it is his nature nothing need happen in his life to create this need to help it is who he is

Superman represents authority and mercy. He could rule but does not.
Spider-Man represents triumph over adversity. He could give up and does not.
