What causes this? I have been much more active in the past few days....we are moving from one house to the other.

Should I worry? I had preeclampsia with my last pregnancy. The swelling goes down after about 2 hours after waking up.

Based on your preeclampsia I would say this is worth a call in to the doctor.

Good luck with the move-I get tired just thinking about it!

could be carpel tunnel. Could be what I had when I got pregnant the first time. Have your blood pressure checked. i don't wnat to alarm u, but it could be toxemia. That is when your body is allergic to the baby and rejects it without aborting it. I know it sounds crazy. I thought so too. I gained 180 lbs. All water! when i had my son, i lost all but 5 lbs and as soon as the baby was out of me, I began to lose the bloating. Try to take it easy, don't eat alot of salt, plenty of fluids, and talk to your doctor.

My hands did the same thing. My doc said it was carpel tunnel syndrome. She said to get some wrist braces and sleep in them. it is not very comfortable, but it works.
