It sounds totally normal to me. I would be a bit worried if a three and a half month old baby did not wake up and want to eat at night.
You can make your life much easier by just putting the baby to bed with you. That way when he/she wakes up you can let let her nurse and just go back to sleep. Usually when a baby that young is close to the source of good they do not really wake up to the point of crying, they just sort of scoot around until they find what they want and then with a contented sigh they go right back to sleep! I never even woke up when any of my 5 ate and neither did my husband so it was of minimal disruption to our sleep. Babies that young need their milk and they also need the love and comfort that they get from being close to you.
Of course if you are not breastfeeding your baby I do suppose that would make things a bit more difficult....I don't have any expertise in that area.
I still would say that it is well within the realm of normalcy.
Good luck.
Blessings

At 3.5 months they are still really young, don't feel like your baby should be sleeping through the night yet, it's ok for your baby to wake up a few times. At 6 months is when you'll want to start worrying about it. As for sleeping in the crib, have you tried just putting your baby in it for naps or while awake so he or she can get used to it before nighttime?
Good luck!

Sounds normal to me. My 10 month old still wakes up about 2-3 times a night to nurse. He sleeps in bed with us, but I am willing to bet he would hate his crib too. Try letting him sleep in bed with you, that way you can all get some good sleep.

I'm so sorry. I was not able to solve this problem until my son started sleeping through the night on his own at age three. Have regular routines for yourselves and baby, don't have the baby in the room with the TV on at all. Try to stay calm and not be angry about it, which will just make him anxious and less likely to sleep. See if you can't get an overnight or a weekend off by sending him to a babysitter or to his grandmother or a friend for a night, because you really need to get some sleep.
Good luck.

count form your advantages ... each mom who has a toddler that may stay wide awake is wishing she replaced into you. as long as your toddler is agining weight and turning out to be merely advantageous then you definately've no longer something to be annoying approximately. infants are meant to get between 11-15 hours a nap in step with day (finding on age) so if he's slumbering 12 hours at evening and having one or 2 naps an afternoon i might say you're doing large and so is the toddler. Beleive me be chuffed that he sleeps 12 directly hours reason incredibly quickly he will go from 2 ro 3 naps right down to a minimum of one and be working around like loopy stepping into issues!

Okay... Let's look at this way, how often do you wake up at night? About half of us adults sleep through the night uninterrupted (sans outside interruptions), the rest of us wake up, use the bathroom, check the clock, etc.. and have to fall back asleep again. We're talking about a little baby who is learning to sleep on his own, its not easy for adults so why would it be easier for an infant?
It might take a year a more before he sleeps through the night, and I don't think its reasonable to expect a baby to sleep through the night without assistance such as feeding them or helping them to get back to sleep. But it sounds as if you are getting tired - so as its said over and over but doesn't seem to get heard "Sleep when the baby sleeps"!

Be patient. When mine was 6 months old, I did the cold turkey method of letting her cry in her crib for 3 days until she went to sleep. She has slept through the nite in her bed since then. she's now 2. It just takes patients. If they cry in the middle of the night don't rush to pick them up. Only when it is a hurt cry do you go. If you get them, it rewards them for crying. Trust me.

i recommend a sleep time schedule... about an hr before u put the baby to bed turn down the lights and turn on some soothing music... feed him a bottle or if hes on solids some oatmeal then a bottle.. then rock him to sleep.. most babies wake up because they were over stimulated right before bed... i learned the hard way.. but thats my suggestion but believe me if hes teething in any way then try some tylenol! Good Luck!

mine is 2 months, he would still get up 3 to 8 times a night, until i did two things
realized he had a priblem with me having cows milk,(he cried a lot and had gas) so i cut that out
let him cry himself to sleep (for 15 min max, if not sleep i chane or feed him again, then return him to crib, usually falls asleep that time...it works so well for me! at 3 months, maybe let baby cry longer? try snd see how it goes, hope it works!)
