Hotpoint wasing machine - softner not coming through.?

I have had my Hotpoint for a few years but just recently the softner is not emptying into the wash. It must be gunged up somewhere! I've cleaned the draw thoroughly, any other suggestions?

Run white vinegar thru a couple of wash cycles with hot water and no clothers. And you can pour some vinegar thru the slot where the clot is and this usually works.

Try pouring some white vinegar in the dispenser. This should help un-clog it if there is a clog.:)

Or pour some boiling water through.
