As your husbands doctor, I also recommended him leaving you. Does he not listen to his doctor?

Isn't love grand? What is the matter with you?. Have you asked him what he would do if the situation were reversed? Isn't there something he had to give up because of you? If he said no to helping you with your health, and he would not change his ways, one of you should pack your bags. On a different note and this is what you want to hear tell him to take care of himself. You will cook for yourself and if he wants to live he can cook for himself or go out for dinner( maybe he will find someone more sympathetic).

My son doesn't like mushrooms so i just set some aside for him and add my mushrooms last. If you did that , you could still get onions. If you love your husband you should find a way to help him with his diet. Maybe you could add more flare to what he's eating for yourself so you don't have to cook completely separate meals everyday.

Do you love him, or not?
My wife altered our menus after a diagnosis from our doctor told me to ease up on fried foods and such.
No prob. She also loves onions, but I don't. She puts onions in some things, but adds more for herself at the table.
You see, she cares about me.
Taking notes?

Yes of course I would change my cooking for him. I'm not married yet, but I have already changed a lot of the food I eat because of his preferences....I eat a lot of chinese and vietnamese food now. Just part of love.

Ummm- I assume you are teasing but if you aren't:
When you are cooking his salt free bland onionless food, JUST before its finished, separate his portion and then season the crap out of yours. The extra time will show him you are not the selfish person you sound like!
