Other than the day I was leaving?

If so, believe it or not it was school dinners.

I am 60 years old now and I still remember the school dinners I had when I went to a school in Newton Abott, Devon were out of this world.

In our school dining room we had 3 long tables and each day one table was allowed to go back for 'seconds' in sequence. If there were any seconds left after that table had had theirs the remaining food was offeredt to the next table.

Most students just sat and waited and hoped for seconds, even the last table.

The 2 reasons we all wanted seconds was because every meal served was wonderful and the the second reason was that we were all pigs (LoL).

I loved school, playing with everyone, getting up to mischief, being part of the everyone hates the french teacher/ the music teacher/ the gay PE teacher...... united in our miseries! and eatind daisy sandwiches and ice cream, sleeping in the library, having a great laugh with our history teacher and just lots of memories.
Infanct school was even better as the summers were long nad hot and we would have our classes outside under the trees

Primary school- everything! Funniest one was when our class was doing a Russian-themed musical, and while going upstairs, I had very long skirt on and the boy behind me stood on it and it fell down around my ankles! I was mortified at the time but can laugh about it now! Seriously though, primary school was just magic for me. Secondary is another matter altogether, I won't go into it right now!

Lunch time, break time, & school holidays! I suppose my best memories are of Biology classes as I used to have a crush on my teacher Dr Scott.

When school tried to expell one of our class mates we arranged a sit down in the playground and sat for hours until they heard our case as it was unfair. We won and they just suspended him for two weeks. We were a close year and no one messed on our turf! (secondary school)
