I have heard of many women who still continued their monthly cycle in the first trimester, and did not know they were pregnant. Can you describe your period? Was it normal, heavy, light, irregular?

I have this strange feeling that I may be pregnant, yet my last 3 periods were on time. 2 were quite heavy, and the last week was rather normal. But I feel so many early pregnancy symptons.
We do not have intercourse during my fertile time, and use the pull-out method. I know, I know, not 100% fool-proof at all. I will be taking a test in the morning.

But I am curious how many did continue their periods while still pregnant.

Thank you for everyone's feedback. To be quite truthful, I do not wish to be pregnant at this time. Both hubby & I feel the same way. Perhaps later on, but not now.

I did,I was confused because I had seen the doctor and he gave me birth control pills,he didn't do a pregnancy test on me when he gave me the pills.
My son is almost 32 years old now,I would hope they do better testing now.
I didn't gain any wieght or get sick until around 5 months along.
It was a short pregnancy for me since I only had 4 months to go when I really found out.
I thought feeling a bit out of it was because I had started taking the pills.I have heard that can be dangerousfor the baby, that doctor was a quack!

NONE. Women do NOT have true periods while pregnant. Some women do bleed, but if it was a true period a pregnancy would not be able to take hold because a period expels the lining of the uterus and the unfertilized egg.

I have had maybe one or two drops of blood since I became pregnant and that was after intercourse. I don't understand how women can have periods during pregnancy. I doubt you are pregnant.

I had my period through the whole pregnancy (on my first pregnancy). It was normal. Not really heavier or lighter
