One example of many:

Recently their Bill O' Reilly (one of the most famous pundits in America) described ongoing fierce fighting in Afghanistan as a 'myth' spread by anti-Americans.

I think the families of our (British) servicemen fighting and dying in Helmand Province would consider this a gross insult.

That would be a good way to deal with FOX news
The most biased and unbalanced "legitimate" news in America.
The news source that the right wing relies on to keep their slanted views.

The fierce suffering with? there have been some assaults and skirmishes, yet 'fierce'? As of October 5, 2007, the British forces have suffered 80 2 fatalities. it rather is in 5 years! I easily have a feeling that tremendous Britain has lost greater beneficial voters from the flu very final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days as they have in strive against over the main suitable 5. it somewhat is what invoice O'Reilly is conversing approximately. in actuality via actuality you do now no longer settle for actuality or have faith it, would not propose that Fox is erroneous.

Seeing as the USA is quite an insular country if it comes down to it (don't very few Americans have passports?) with little exposure to other countries and cultures except through TV, perhaps many but not all (and I hasten to add the words "not all" as despite the above I do know some open-minded Americans ) Americans are bound to believe everything Fox tells them about overseas.

They never seem to report on anything outside America! No wonder they're all so poorly informed about the rest of the world over there.

I never watch that channel because the American accents drive me insane after about 2 minutes.

It is a revelation most of America knows. Fox News is not "fair and balanced" like their motto boasts- only a 24-hours-a-day Republican propaganda network.

Most Americans know Fox News for what it is, however many also eat it up every day.

all you have to do is not watch it.. you could try remembering is all spin. or you can just go on hating all Americans that don't like whats going on either.

or you could try just blaming the idiots in charge for all the lies.
Bill O'riely is what he is because he is know to get to the truth, if you watched the show carefully then you would have heard that even he did not buy it. i do agree with the other fox news is mostly bush's lies

It's not too far of a swing to say that you'd hate us even if you were watching a test pattern on your telly!

Just be grateful we Yanks don't hate the Brits and are reasonably willing to look the other way when younger people make fools of themselves with their youthful naïvété.

We should be lucky because we Brits have the BBC.

Despite its flaws, I still think BBC is the fairest, most unbiased and most respectable broadcasting corporation that exists.
