Every Christian is referred to as a soldier of Christ, in the New Testament.
But Sharpton and Jackson are not ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are ministers (servants) of the social gospel.
Rather than forgive the sins of America's past, they continually play the "race card" at every media event in a deliberate attempt to promote racial hatred and divide our nation even further. They are blow-hards who like the limelight and like to hear themselves talk. "Walkin' your Talk" is a challenge for every believer. It's time that Jesse & Al step up to the plate, and live their professed faith.
I firmly believe that if it were not for them and their ilk, racism would already be a thing of the past.

I find that everything that can be used as a race issue is used as a race issue. Any way to bring the plight of the people to national attention is used. If the shoe is on the other foot it makes only a blip on anyone’s radar. And you bleeding heart liberals need to understand that six on one is most definitely attempted murder. One on One is a fight and would still have been considered assualt. What exactly does everyone expect? Oh it was okay for them to do that because someone hung a noose in a tree. Was anyone hanging from that noose? Was an effigy hanging from the noose with someone’s name on it? Was anyone threatened? I’m sorry but I find that it is all way to much over a group assault. They did the crime. If five white boys had done the same thing they would have been charged. We would still have picketing from civil rights groups because it would not have been enough. People expect it. Stop expecting it. It needs to stop. They are charged with a crime but hey we are going to picket and if they actually get convicted we are going to cause a race riot, because we can make sure we intimidate the jury by doing this. It has worked before and it will work again. They fear us in numbers so regardless of whether this was right or wrong let’s make sure that we get the outcome we want. Watch. They will get the outcome they want.

As someone who knows a little more than most of you about jesse jackson and Al Sharpton.I will tell you that yes, they are coming down hard on the rappers and other musicians who use violent lyrics in their music.even the rappers are now fighting back the other day,David banner(whom some of you might know)fired back ,when Sharpton told the rappers to bury the "n" word, the "b"word and the "h"word. But most of you don't know that ,what music label is going to push for socially conscious material?none that I know of even in pop,its sex it up or lose it,most of the music you hear is not what the artist is inerested in producing,it is what the record labels believe will sell cd's. Also be careful what you wish for, because there is the right to free speech,so when you can stop people from using any of the offensive "three words, n word b word h word what else is next? the fact is many parents are relying on the government to raise and protect their kids, which is morally and ethically wrong, you don't have to tune in to,or purchase anything that is offensive to you or your children, parents at some point have to be responsible for how their kids are raised. I grew up listening to rap, does that mean that I automatically, rob, shoot steal or maim people? No its all about parenting. If children can watch DVDs with all of the violence, gore and crude sexual acts in them, whats the inherent difference between that sort of exposure and listening to rap CD's. There are "clean" rappers out there like Lupe fiasco, common, talib kweli who buys their records? or when was the last time you heard them on your local radio? You should not point the finger when you don't have an inkling of what is going on in your soceity. Listen to Al sharptons radio show,he is now reprimanding the rappers, but who ultimately decides what America listens to,its the bigwig music labels.

They want to go down in history as advocates for equal rights blah blah blah. Honestly, they're just as fake as Barry Bonds and him not using preformance enhancing drugs. They want to be put up on a pedistool with Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, and all those REAL activist who fought for something they believed in ONLY because they believed in it. Not for media attention and putting this warped image out that they are good people.

They are idiots. But the real idiots are the ones covering this. The media. If the media wouldn't show up with their cameras, those two assholes wouldn't show up either.

They are opportunists. Even if the cause is just, their involvement takes credibility AWAY from the effort.
But really, are they any different than Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh? They are all opportunistic, windbags that prey on the insecurities of the nation. And for what? Ratings? Money?
It's all B.S. man!
