I agree a dead -end relation is just what it is, a dead-end.Just like driving on a road that is a dead-end. the point is if you know it's a dead-end why go that why take that route. A bad relationship is bad however if your willing to be patient it could become a good one.It's if your willing to be patient.

Probably about the same difference as being on a dead end street and one filled with potholes. On a dead end street, you go nowhere, but on a pothole filled road at least there's a chance of moving forward to a place where the road may be a bit smoother. Whether it's a "bad," or "dead-end" relationship depends upon the potential and aspirations of the one perceiving it as so. If that person envisions greater things in life than would ever be possible to achieve within the relationship, then I'd say it's a dead-end situation. On the other hand, should they deem and desire the relationship as salvageable, then it's a "bad" relationship and a resurfacing is in order to fill the potholes. (if it is within that person's power to do so - if not, we're back at dead-end).

A dead end relationship is one that will lead no where at all!! A bad relationship may be able to be improved but not without a lot of work by both people in it!! Chances are that it will be more drama than it's worth!!

A bad relationship is one that is still going, maybe you even really like the relationship but it will only lead to trouble, trouble and more trouble. Think of the person who is married and has an affair. That is a bad relationship.

"Dead End" would imply that there is not potential for progression. In other words 2 people would remain "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" for ever.
"Bad" would imply a lack of respect on some level. Even so, the relationship could still progress depending on the people's tolerance.

Dating means you are going out with that person, but you can be "dating" multiple people at the same time. In a relationship means exclusivity.
