Oh no....Butterfly Kisses, Watching Scotty Grow, You're Having My Baby, Honey, Tell Laura I Love Her, Strange Things Happen In This World - those are all worse.
Imagine is sentimental, but it's a vision too.

I wouldn't say it's a work of genius or maudlin, sentimental tripe. It's just a really good song.

I used to love this song, but the older I get the more I'm leaning towards maudlin tripe. Or maybe it's just been played way to much.

"My Love" by McCartney is far worse.
"Imagine" isn't a work of genius, just the musings of an angry man trying to calm himself.
