Personally organic pads are by far the cleanest and never harm the brake rotors. EBC Green Stuff Pads are an example. Any ceramic pad is a good alternate choice as it is cleaner than the filthy rotor eating metallic or semi-metallic pads.
Ceramic based pads are easier on brake rotors also. When you go to any auto parts store simply ask what the pads are made of.
Walk straight past any off-shore brake rotors as they rust, corrode and warp like crazy. If you get two yrs. out of them you're lucky.

We use Morse-- Ceramic / Brake Pads because their a premium pad at a good price (about $30 for your car) with a 2 year warranty. You can spend as high as $100. for some pads and unless your a pro racer your throwing your money away.( If the pros have to pay,out of pocket, for them most don't go with the highest price.
