Exactly! He will defend to the death his belief that everything is right and nothing is wrong - except his own stance because he will never be able to accept all things to the extent to which he preaches to others.

I'm not sure if that applies to all liberals but it is indicative of the types of arguments that say that successful countries bring hatred upon themselves by being successful, or that successful people need to feel guilt about being successful.

There is a belief amongst many people, most of whom would classify themselves as liberal that life is a zero sum game and that one person's gain is another person's loss. Conservatives believe that a rising tide lifts all boats. It is a philosophical difference that leads to the statement you mention.

No, not at it's fullest meaning. It's not good to be too wishy-washy (sp?) as a person.
Wouldn't Rudy Giuliani be a good example of this statement ? And he's a Conservative so you can't say it's just Liberal thinking people.

We have stronger convictions to our beliefs then most conservatives do. Our "broadminded" traits are a virtue within us because we see the way things really are from all of its sides, not some fantasy, everyone is white, rich, and christain world that most conservative republicans live in.

It is far better to be broadminded then it is to be close-minded wouldn't you agree?

Of course you wouldn't :)

i do no longer guard Nickelback the two yet they do have skills and clearly adequate human beings like them in any different case they'd not be as enormous as they're now. A "good" band is all in keeping with opinion. somebody you think of is sweet and proficient won't be good and proficient in somebody elses eyes. So, merely in view which you and that i do in comparison to them would not propose they suck.

You meant to type "too broadminded". I understand that you were so anxious to get this brilliant question posted that you just forgot to reread it for grammar and spelling. As for the question at hand, I'm sure some believe that statement, but I am not one of them.

That's about right! With a Liberal there is only one side and that is theirs. No discussion, end of story with the leftists.

Sorry, I do not agree. I have never met a liberal who was not narrowminded.

"Too" broadminded.

No, just a man fed up with reactionaries who sling mud to proove their point, as the far right is based on.
