Impossible to gain weight fast safely.
When at the gym, use (relatively) heavy weight, low reps, for about 45 mins, then have a protien/weight-gain shake. Train on alternate days, using a split routine and basic exercises; squat, bench presss, shoulder press, dead lift, chin-ups.
Once every 10 days, have a workout using compound movements. Eat small, balanced meals often (6 a day) with plenty of water. Use creatine first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, no tea or coffee for 2 hours.

Actually I'd say 110 is an ideal weight for your height; anything over 125+ would be excessive though unless the individual was an athlete. Compare you weight to the rest of the world excluding America, as the country has an extremely high obesity weight and regards 'overweight' as acceptable. If your metabolism is really that fast, continue eating what you're already eating; protein, carbohydrates, nutrients, etc. At your weight, it's recommend around ~.5 grams of protein per pound you weigh starting out. So, try to consume at least ~40-50 grams each day for muscle growth. The average amount of muscle a person builds is around 2-3 pounds a month, then slowly levels off; it will take time if you want just muscle and not fat

To gain weight, you should increase the number of calories in your daily diet by about 300 calories. These extra calories should be part of a balanced diet. Having high protein foods like peanut butter, eggs, milk, will help. You can find a lot of info on gaining weight at http://www.myweight.info

Go too the gym and just do weights as muscle is heavier than fat also try eating alot of pasta and potatoes with plenty of fish.

there is no shortcut and no easy way,since you have a goal of

You can gain weight fast if you take milk and milk products in large quantities.Butter ,ice creams,milk,egg etc help weight gain.

get yourself down the pub every night drink lots of beer and on the way home try a Chinese,Italian kebab or fish super it worked for me
