i am a die heart indians fan but i didn't think that they would have this magical of a season. I do see them in the world series with the pitching staff that they have. CC with now 18 wins, Fausto with 17 wins, byrd who has really turned it on in the second half now with 15 wins, and what can you say about that bulpen? Well you can say that Perez and Betancourt have been monsters this year mowing down people left and right. And the offense of theirs which was supposed to bring this team to the promise land has the chance to score 10 on any given night. Like two nights ago all seven runs came from the long ball. This team looks to be unbeatable to me if they get the good pitching matchup which they easily should be able to obtain with the numerous days off in the post season. I was only 5 in 1997 but i still remember crying my eyes out after the fateful loss. I hope that were celebrating here in Cleveland this year.

GO TRIBE!!

It all starts with the #1 seed in the AL. If they get the homefield advantage, they have the best chance to win. They are alot better at home than away, as the same with most teams. If they get the #1 seed, they will set the format for the ALDS. They will set up the 8-day series, pitching Carmona and Sabathia FOUR times in a five game series.

They will not lose with those 2 Cy Young contenders pitching 80% of the series. Rafeal (Beatencourt) and Rafeal (Perez) are the best set up guys in baseball, combines for around a 1.40 ERA. And it is perfect, one is lefty and the other is righty. Burowski is not good in non-save situations, but gets the job done when the save is possible. Their bullpen is very good and will need to perform amazing for them to win.

They are a young team and will need the veteran leadership of Lofton and Trot Nixon. If they can keep their cool together, they are just as good as any AL team. And most of us know, the AL team will win the World Series. Yes, the NL is the Eastern Conference of the NBA.

It will be interesting. the TRibe is on a great roll right now. Sabathia is tough as well as Carmona. They are chewing up and spitting out the Tigers. IF they can get it to come through Cleveland, I like their chances. Top 3 teams are dead even. It would be nice rather than going to New York or Boston

get real about the Angels, people. Their bullpen has been "faltering", and Vlad is limited to DH due to arm issues, for starters. Cleveland took 2 of 4 from LAA so why people think the Angels are so dominant baffles me. The strong team right now appears to be NYY and Cleveland does have problems with them. However, as demonstrated in 1997, it is not impossible to overcome them. I say that if the Indians can eliminate the NYY then they will go all the way. Boston is having issues of its own, as we all can see. Cleveland needs to continue to play the way they are this month, not the way they played in August. Depending on which team shows up in Roctober will depend on how far they go.

As well as they are playing probably not. Although each team in the AL is so good when playing at their best that it's hard to count anyone out. The Yankees are playing the best baseball right now, but right behind them is Cleveland. I think the only team NY cannot beat is LAA but thats only if they play in ALDS. That being said, the only team I can't see the Indians beating is NY. At the same time the only team Boston can beat is LAA. Right now it is still very difficult to say, but I wouldn't think Cleveland is going to win it all with such a young team.

There really is no clear cut favorite when looking at the eight playoff teams. The Indians have Sabathia and Carmona they can throw at the other teams and that will make them very competitive but to say they will go all the way would be a stretch at this time.

Yes, this is their year. They have a much better bullpen than the Red Sox right now. Gagne and Papelbon can't even hold a lead. Once we get to Raffy Perez and Betancourt, it's all over. The Indians can beat you in so many different ways and they have the best team chemistry.

In the past 3 years, we've seen the 3rd longest WS winless streak end (Red Sox) & the 2nd longest one (White Sox). So it's only logical that it's now time for the longest one to fall. The Tribe missed their chance. Here come the Cubbies. Prepare for the apocalypse.

Baseball is a streaky game, and who wins the WS is often the team that's playing their best at the end of the season. Right now the Tribe is hot, so they've got a great chance of taking it all.

I live in Cleveland and yes the Indians will go all the way into October. And if they freeze like usual in October we won't go anywhere. Though it sure will be great if they win a World Series. This town will surely ROCK then!
