I was considering attaching a whammy bar to my gibson SG?

does anyone know how much this will cost? Will it effect palm muting? Is there a certian type I should get? HELP!!

I've got an Ibanez with a stock whammy bar and it makes some cool sounds but I find that it puts my guitar out of tune all the time, which is a bit annoying. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I find I have to re-tune it after every time I use it.

Go with a Floyd Rose, depending on the one you get anywhere from $150 and up

No it won't affect palm muting
