For Christmas last year I decided to have my dog spend the day at my brothers house so he wouldn't be in the way of my 25 guests and also, I wanted to put appetizers on the coffee table without having to worry that he would knock them over or eat them. Everything was going great until my in laws showed up. They opened the door, and in came their 160 pound chocolate Lab who headed straight for the food sending it flying everywhere! Talk about the best laid plans, I'd say thats Murphy's Law.

Car needed new battery. Went to Autozone to get battery. New battery had faulty cell. Get replacement. Battery good. Belt breaks on alternator cutting charge cable. Replace belt and charge cable. Alternator shorts out burns up new battery. Replace alternator and battery. ANOTHER faulty new battery. Finally after the next battery everything worked ok but, if that isn't Murphy's Law I guess I don't know what is.

would slagging someone off in an email and then sending it to the person you were slagging off by mistake be
considered Murphy's law
this is just an off the wall example
i mean i wouldn't want some crazy ape sh*t bonkers psycho hose beast getting the wrong end of the stick and going all mental over it and composing emails that are so vitriolic in its rabid reactionary ranting that it needs to be continued in a second mail?

Well after washing your car, it's a big disappointment if it starts to rain or even better a bird comes by and drops a big surprise on your vehicle, it's like they sense the cleanliness and zero in on your car!

floor landing buttered side up, I thought that's lucky! Leaning over to pick it up the chair leg broke! I fell on the toast.

I never wash my car for that reason. I get a FREE one every time it rains!
If something can go wrong, it will.
Good planning can abort some disasters. Check the weather outlook in the morning before you do this next time.

That's not Murphy's law.
Murphy's law is that if there are two are more ways to do something and one of them will lead to catastrophe then someone will do it.
Common misunderstanding.
