Purdue plays IU for the Old Oaken Bucket, probably their most famous (and longest running) rivalry trophy. Every year and "I" or a "P" link is added to a chain to represent the team that has won. In it's history there have been 53 P's, 25 I's and 3 "I P" links signifying ties (including the first one.)

But Purdue also play ND for the Shillelagh and Illinios for the Cannon. (as a side note, I think the Cannon as a trophy has the more interesting history, even if the IU rivalry is bigger.)

The Yankees #2 opposition is likely considered one of the Mets. in case you ever yet 3 Yankees and 3 Mets fan in a room you will have considerable arguing approximately who's the greater proper third baseman or who's greater proper between CC and Johan. in case you like a #2 American League rival i'm gonna would desire to assert the two Angels becuase they have our form or the Rays because of the fact they seem to be a collection of up and coming stable ball gamers.

Texas has 2. The "Golden Hat" which is awarded to the Red River Shootout winner, and the "Lone Star Showdown Trophy", which is awarded to the winner of the Lone Star Showdown (ironically, it's based on head-to-head matchups between UT and A&M...not just football).
