...Yuck! ? Like, she's boring and plain, he's stupid and ugly, who would want to be married to them? Their dumb marriage goes nowhere and you wonder what the heck?
Is this just me, or does anyone else understand this?

Oh I know exactly what you're talking about, and it's not something that most people talk about except in private (usually with their spouse...LOL). But my hubby and I have several friends that we look at them and wonder what on earth do they see in each other....
You have to realize though, that I'm sure while my hubby and I are thinking (and saying) that, people are looking at us and asking themselves the exact same question. No one except the people inside the marriage know exactly what goes on inside the marriage. That's why you never get involved with someone else's marriage problems, unless you happen to be a marriage counselor.

You guess !!Marriage is a good factor in case you hit upon the main suitable "Soulmate". There are too many infants rushing into those bonds and the union does no longer final !!Take it sluggish,There are an entire lotta' fish interior the sea.I easily have been with a similar woman virtually 40 yrs !!that is not any longer all user-friendly,yet continually be a stable listener and communicate issues w/ your mate.undergo in strategies, Its extra beneficial than merely procreating !! I once dated an ugly guy, thinking he would not cheat. Well, I was wrong! He cheated! I suppose if we had married people would have wondered why I was w/ an ugly dude. I am not beautiful by any means, but, I am sure we would have been compared to each other. I mean, he was really ugly, lol... turns out, his heart was ugly too =(... someone might look boring and plain, but, perhaps she is faithful to her husband and that is what he needs because he was always cheated on before! Someone else might be stupid and ugly but perhaps he treats her like a princess, and she was treated like crap before by other men... who knows...but, I think sometimes people look for ugly people on purpose thinking they will be faithful and treat them good...

well you know what I say, beauty is only skin deep and ugly is to the bone. But hey who cares. if it ain't broke honey don't fix it. and maybe worry about your self a little more and not what stupid and ugly people are doing, unless it's really affecting you. I think marriage is dumb. but hey I'm just a bitter old single gal who's down on her luck, things can change.

I knew everyone was thinking that on my own wedding. LOL! My e-husband was a simple country guy with below-average looks and no education, and I'm well, not to blow my own horn, pretty, educated and a city girl. My social circle didn;t like him, he was just NOT on my level. Everyone made face and put up with it, and then when I divorced him, all my friends told me that they never thought that it will work out but they were trying to be polite and supportive! LOL!
My co-worker that just got married, marry this very country guy with a tech vocational college education. She has a masters dregree, she's drop dead gorgeaous, sophisticated and a city girl. I wonder how much it will last, they are so different and she is embarrased about his countriesh manners and demeanor. Og well, I wish them well.

hahahahaha I think this daily. Only mine doesn't stop at Married couples I see couples all over the place that I don't give a crap about. My favorite is fat balding guy with hot young wife.

I think most vain people think this way.
Two people can be totally suited with one another and it may be a blessing to them not be fixated on looks.
My wife and I are not ugly but most people don't think we are suited. They don't know us they are only judging what they see for a brief period of time. People are married 24/7 not just when they are out and about.

Me too! SOMETIMES I do wonder why people get the best when we settle for the least!Life still has to go on and then night is still here , morning will be in and it Will be different with all the menial tasks from bills to work on our mind.
