I wouldn't mind having a female president but not Hillary Clinton.
If Condoleezza Rice runs for presidency, I would vote for her.
If Jolie runs, I would vote for her too as long as she doesn't bring down the economy. She'd prolly keep terrorists properly whipped.

What does Angelina Jolie know about politics?
Arnold cannot be president because he is not a natural born citizen of the U.S.
I have nothing against a woman president, just so long as it isn't Hillary Clinton. She's just too slick.

Yeah... I'd like to see a male or female run for President. Unfortunately we seem to have lacked either for decades.
The next major party candidate for whom I vote will very likely not be an actor or actress. I'd like to see a retired military officer (O-7 before retirement) who was a mustanger. He or she will have experience getting things done under impossible odds because of his or her military officer experience. He or she will also know how to look out for the "troops" having been enlisted. He or she will have an education, and will have learned how to apply it to a variety of problems.
I think I'd go with a Navy Line Officer over other services... not because I was Navy, but because such Navy officers don't get only one kind of duty. They have to learn to function in a wide variety of environments and situations. They know the benefit of selecting competent advisors and how to work with them.
Furthermore, having been military, the have the brains to be apolitical.
The problem is that people who have reached that level of responsibility are too honest and hardworking to lower themselves to enter politics. And besides, they're not always appealing to the average voter who likes glitz and pabulum, and who probably wouldn't recognize quality leadership if it ever stepped forward. They haven't been able to recognize it... or its lack... in about 40 years.
I don't know anything about Jolie. But my suspicion is that any seemingly altruistic on the part of an actor/actress is dut to PR staff or tax advice. Not many entertainers have brains enough to make intelligent decisions. Almost all you see or hear of them is scripted.
I do know that Schwarzenegger has declined the Governor's salary. That would save the country a million dollars a term if he were in the White House. But he wasn't born in the US, so the point is moot.

I'm not specifically wanting either Angelina or Arnold, but I do want our next President to be the person who can best do the job, regardless of gender, race or anything else.

i think it would be very good to have a women president. unfortinilty alot of the girls i've seen have been kinda dumb. but I think Angelina would be good for a president caring and stuff the things a woman would need to me. The mother of a country sort of. Maybe things would get better for us if our presdent looked at us as there children and not somthing to rule. unfortinily there will never be a women president or a black president becuase of white males how are hard headed and dumb.sigh.

I personally would like to see a qualified person (male or female) be elected. Star status does not prove you would make a good chief executive. Unfortunately the only woman running got into office on the coat tails of her husband and hasn't done a thing for the state she represents... enough said

There's no question that a lot of the recent male presidents have been dreadful, so I don't think we would do any worse with a female.

Arnold is a deserter from the Austrian Army and he can't run for president as he does not meet the qualifications.
I like Angela. She gives 1/3 of her income to charities! Neocons wouldn't like her, she is to civil, caring and kind!
There have been great women leaders like Margaret Thatcher and Golda Maier. I guess Queen Elizabeth, the first one was ok as well!

The only actors who turned out to be decent in government were Conservatives. I don't care about their sex, as long as they represent ME.
[edit] Yeah, Ahnold isn't qualified. Just as well.
Laura Croft for President??? LOL!

It's not that she's caring, civil, and Kind.
It's that she would be a horrible president.
Personally, the only Female president I could ever see myself voting for would be Laura Ingram. If you don't know who she is, look her up.
