I try to teach the 3 females that live with me, to always leave the seat up, that way they will only be pleasantly surprised to find it down.
I am the dad and husband, I rule in my house as long as my wife lets me!

It is OK, but when us guys have to go #1, the darn seat wont stay up, and you are forced to hold it up while you go. It can be very uncomfortable and annoying.

Never did like them fluffy covers, you got to hold them up while you do your thing.
