i did try with a Buffalo Mimo PCMCIA card with no success will I still be unsuccessful with the C&W Card?

Everything should be backwards compatable. The mimo equipment should work fine, you might have to configure the driver to work only in 802.11g mode, but I dont think it should matter.
You might have to disable any security you are using as the mimo might be using a form of WPA that the router does not support.

Hi,
The 802.11g part should work. The MIMO part probably won't. Translated...Yes at standard 802.11g speeds...not enhanced speeds.
