Basically 6 black kids beat a white kid almost to death.
And they're bitching about racism?
Honestly, if it were the other way around, there would be race riots wouldn't there?
Thankfully we see now that racism is a two-way street.

Renee,
Tell you what, make sure that the BLACK slavers families pay restitution too and we can talk.
Because there were Black slavers, lots of them. And they made a great deal of money selling fellow blacks.
But that is the kind of thing you guys like to keep hush-hush huh?

I agree with you..I am so sick over this racist BS! I posted about it to but my bet is that since we are not McCann bashing they won't notice us here.

Hatred is taught, it is not a gene given to you by your parents. I agree with some of the answers but not all. The shipping them back to Africa is just crazy. If that were the case we all might as well be shipped back b/c this country was made by immigrants. I think there should be a punishment for the teens. Commuinty service, fines or probation. For the teens who hung nooses in the trees of some homeowners should also be punished with the same punishments listed above. A good old fashion a$$ beatin is not the way of the 21st century. I understand it happens all over the world but I think we should be more civil. What does a beating prove? Nothing at all. Im sorry to say but while Sharpton is around there will always be rascism. He is like Don King of the civil rights movements he is a premoter of rasicsm. He called for Don Imus to be fired but when Al Roker made a comment about the Olympics symbol, and how it looked like people with a disease that they cant control made it up, nothing was done. Why? Where was Al Sharpton? It seems like he only gets involved when an African American is being accused or being bashed on the radio. He does not in fact do anything when an African American says or does Something wrong. (see O.J. Simpson in the new Las Vegas Scandal) Well thats it for me Sorry to go on and on.

The media, Jackson & Sharpton have been calling this a "fight" in school... an obvious mischaracterization of what happened. When I was in school a fight was when at least 2 people with opposing views threw punches at each other. This was a beating or an assult, but certainly not a fight as the media wants to call it.
The 3 nooses hanging from the tree was in very poor taste, but certainly didn't give the black students the right to pick out a white kid & try to beat him to death. That said, the local DA did go way overboard with the charges on the black kids. Chuckle, Jackson & Sharpton are still mad about not being allowed to lynch those 3 white boys on the Duke LaCross team.

You can't be that stupid without a lot of effort?

I thought I was really "missing" something with this whole story. I have heard nothing else on the local news except about the buses of people from Detroit that were going there to "protest"...I have been so confused. After reading through the comments/opinions/bs on this in your "question" I see that I was right on the money with what I had been thinking right along. It's as you said...pure racism. I get so very, very sick of this sh** all the time. Try having a White History Week. Try having a Miss White America. Try having a NAAWP. Try having a United Caucasian College Fund. BS all of it.

i think of everyone envolved, white and black, could be expelled. i'm bored with listening to it, too yet incredibly, those white infants could have gotton extra of a punishment, then perhaps the different newborn does no longer have gotton beat up. i'm like what? Are we nonetheless livin interior the 50's reason i ought to have swore that this type of crap could be over by now. Sorry, I merely think of if the noose hadn't have been hung first of all, none of this may well be happening. And, particular, Jackson and Sharpton are no further perfect than people who hung the noose.

Well, its because the consequences were really severe. The got into a school yard fight and are being charged with attempted murder. It don't know if it has anything to do with race, but its still a little much. If it were a bunch of white kids though, I do not think it would be this big of a deal!

The reason why we don't riot, qutie2day, is because unlike you and those like you, we don't turn criminals into heroes. Law breakers need to be in jail/prison, not on "Free so-and-so" signs.

Self-esteem and rioting do not go hand-in-hand; well, at least to civilized people, of course.
