Hmmm...that would be bad...
The libs probably think that sounds good, since it leads to the destruction of our nation...
The only way to make the deal sweeter is to see all the libs torn apart by the enormous masses on conservatives storming their mansions...
Lets just hope the republicans win...

It's not just the incentive it's the capital - it's a tax on INCOME. The only real capital is accumulated EARNINGS, thus the only growth is through reinvestment of those earnings, which does not happen if those earnings were taxed away.

THAT is why when tax rates were higher most of the growth came from monetary inflation, which resulted in much more severe boom and bust cycles - at least where it mattered, on the 'bust' side (compared to now, where we have 4.6% unemployment at the PEAK of the interest rate cycle), and it all washed up on the beach in the 1970s.

The 1970s was no small blip - it was a complete meltdown and it didn't persist into the 1980s ONLY because we completely reversed both monetary and fiscal policy.

If we had continued with neo-New-Deal fiscal policy that would have required a continuation of inflationary montary policies - the "malaise" as Carter called it would have lasted as long as or longer than the Depression - it would have lasted as long as other economic meltdowns such as the German inflation of the 1920s, the Japanese deflation of the 1990s / early 2000s - it would have continued until we changed policy.

We whine and complain about our taxes which, by the way are among the lowest in the world. People complain about any and all taxes but we pay them. The scare tactics of the right come out every time there is any talk of progress. They try to scare people saying they will pay soooo much more in taxes when that really isn't true at all. President Clinton, for example, managed to lower taxes and still have a budget surplus. How is that possible? What is our budget like today? Billions in the hole and the hole is getting larger.

I have to laugh at the fear mongers. If taxes are raised by a few cents they make it sound like everyone is going to go broke paying taxes. The sky is going to be falling, oh my! Their borrow and spend policy has to be paid for eventually and a small raise in taxes might help do that. The wealthy can afford a small increase. So they can't buy that new yacht or the 4th mansion, poor baby, this year and will have to wait until next year.

What, merely because of the fact he would not pay his taxes? Why could he be in reformatory, two times in decrease than a 300 and sixty 5 days he's caught being a tax cheat? merely because of the fact he's in value of the abode committee that oversees the IRS. Why it ought to all be a huge mistake. Now in case you probably did a similar BS you would be working up $$ in expenditures and charges, and previous due costs, and taxes. no longer Charlie, my oh my, he's as truthful as a weasel interior the hen abode. If in user-friendly terms the truthful and stable human beings of long island might can his valueless butt the subsequent time he runs. Charlie, alongside with Pelosi, and Frank, and Dodd, and Waxman, and Reid are all impressive examples of enacting term limits.

I'm about ready to revolt over the demand by the Fed that Congress raise the national debt limit AGAIN! For the 5th time since Bush took office.

Borrow and spend is no way to run a country.

Dems?!?!? What about what Bush has done to our economy. You all gripe about taxes. This war is costing billions and trillions. How do the Republicans plan on paying for it?
Essential services. Do you know that our seniors are loosing essential quality of life services? Meals on Wheels is about to take a nasty hit.

You sure spend a lot of time complaining about your taxes. How do you think your education was paid for? You sure are ungrateful, and selfish when it comes time to pay your share.

If all the other developed nations can have public health care and education systems, surely we are smart enough to do that as well? Are Americans less able to build a just society than the Canadians or French?

Get over it. Being a citizen means more than just accepting the benefits. You have to pay your share. You want your rights, accept your responsibilities. Were you not paying attention in Civics classes?

We are about to in Michigan! The Democrat governor has resisted our demands of no new taxes. She told us if elected that in 5 years we would be "blown away" and she is out to prove it with increasing income taxes and sales taxes! We are so far in debt now she says reforms won't work!! Who knows who will pay what? Our state is on the verge of bankruptcy. It is very hard to feel any incentives for being a productive citizen. Remember the congress is a majority DEMOCRAT! And it is not just a partisan war.

It doesn't matter what people do, or say. The government runs all facets of human society. We are being watched, ALL the time..we have no liberties, even though people think they do.
We are numbers only...think about it..your social security # is all that is needed..not to mention your DR Lisc, more numbers..we aren't people we are known by the numbers associated with us. Think about school, you have a number for your ID...so they can tap into anything...so not working, won't mean nothing for me..except I won't be able to take care of my kids...and Doctors...they aren't going to give up the medicaid reimbursements...and who can afford to go see them anyway...
Robots will take over....

Maybe the people should rise up when their party gives a blank check for an unnecessary war. But since the people care very little how liberal their conservative president is, I don't see why they would be so upset when it is time to pay the bill...of course, unless they still believe that Bush intended to pay for this war with oil. Then I could see how the very few poeple left who still support him would be as angry as the rest of us were years ago when the GOP allowed Bush to spend his way into a massive deficit. Everyone hates the bill collector...

Washington needs to balance the budget, come up with viable plans for social security and medicare, somehow improve education, extract us from international foreign policy nightmeres, and, a lot of other important issues. Republicans need to see the bigger picture and not use taxes as the devining rod on the road to the white house and congress.
