when will the black community and the MEDIA realize that these two idiots are not men of god or the people. they have been using the black community (mostly the poor, and criminal) as their stepping stool for years to attain a wealthy status. why does the black community continue to rally behind these men when the reality is that they are pushing civli rights for all races backwards. MLK jr taught us and preached to us to love, honor, and respect each other as we are all children of god. nothing else matters but that. so i ask again why does the black community stand behind these two men who preach hatred and vengence and say that they are doing it for god, and the black community? we are all humans and we will all hate and fight and have our own opinions because that is our nature as humans, but we also can compramise and see other points of view.

Most of us our followers, not leaders.
We will blindly follow anyone who promises, provides or promulgates those things we think we need or believe in;
look at how many people have 'supported' such evil propagandists as Adolph Hitler, Rush Limbaugh and George W. Bush. -RKO- 09/20/07

First of all don't generalize. Many in the "black community" see the so called leaders for what they are. Also at the same time, there are issues which they are at the forefront of that affects the black community.
So what you have to realize is, that we can support a cause or a movement, but it doesn't mean we necessarily support them. The bad part is the under publicized things that especially Al Sharpton does, are really good things. But they aren't hot topic issues so people don't see them.

They have been around a long time, and do what has worked in the past. It is time (IMO) for them to try to bring about racial integration, rather than finger pointing.
Although, they would have to find time between the injustices to modify the way they act. Therein lies the problem. They just get back from one issue, only to have to go back out on the road again, to try and save us from ourselves.
Besides, newscasters are wealthy, they use us for stepping stones. We only get part of the story from them...nobody gets teed off at them!
Heck, politicians are wealthy...and we pay for their "romping" we hardly slap them on their wrist.
There are plenty people out there using people.

I don't think you can say all of the black community is behind them but yes as a whole I think people are ignerent when they are not well educated and need something to stand for. Alan Keyes is a strong, black man who is running on the Republican ticket for president. Wish they would rally behind him.

They are exactly what they seem to be - a pair of shakedown artists who extract money from people and companies in order to get them to slither back under the boulder that they emerged from.
