I see question after question about some ignorant person stating that they spoke to 1 black person. Now all black people feel this way. Seriously, that is just ignorant and stupid. I know for a lot of people you are going to have to re-wire your thinking. In case you didn't know before, black people do not all think and like the same things. Fck Jesse Jackson, Fck Al Sharpton, and Fck OJ.
That's how I feel about it.

I would not lump Reverends Sharpton and Jackson with OJ Simpson...though people may be ashamed of them and think they are misguided, their intentions are based on a love for our people.

O J Simpson has always had only love for himself. If you learn more about him (from childhood to the present day)

ANYWAY

YOU ARE CORRECT IN SAYING THAT OUR PEOPLE DO NOT ALL THINK ALIKE.

In fact, from my travels and living all around the world (Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Canada, UK, Pacific Islands) we are the most individual minded group of people i have ever seen

AND YES, MANY PEOPLE ON HERE BELIEVE WE ALL THINK ALIKE. I just answered one such person.

that would be the biggest reason a group of people would be lumped together, their spokesmen! they may not be yours but as a general rule they are the only ones covered by the media. look at what they do to Obama he's not black enough, not down with the struggle! people in the black community should tell these idiots to shut up! perception is influenced by experience, tell me one black person in music, TV or politics other than Obama that acts like he has any sense or doesn't act like a thug? how do you expect perception to change?

Yes. Watch how freely people use the phrase "the black community" as if we congregate in one place and decide on what we'll collectively think.

I've been searching for this "black community" for a while and I still haven't found it.

Exactly, I hate when people said that too. One person doesn't speak for an entire race, just because a few people share similar opinions doesn't mean we all do.

Yeah I used to let racist people get to me...no matter what race they were against. Now i've come to terms that they are just foolish people. I choose to ignore them. I'll let all racist people deal with each other because you can't talk sense to anyone who is not willing to listen.
