Start by doing it from your house or online. When you build up enough business get a store and employees. You need to establish the business first and then the vendors will come to you. Good Luck.

First of all you will need to register your business, because a lot of wholesalers will not sell to you if you dont have a tax I.D. number.
There are clothing shows a few times of year in New York and Las Vegas that have plenty of vendors to buy from.
Also try googling childrens wholesale clothing ,also once you set up a store and advertise wholesalers will start to come to you.

I hope this helped. Good luck

Check with your local fabric stores like JoAnn's and Hancocks. They often know of people who make kids clothing who want to find an outlet to sell in but can't. You can post a sign with them, or leave a business card. Also if you put out a 'need sewers' message on sewing bulletin boards (like sewingworld.com or the vogue bulletin boards) you'll get people contacting you.
