ok when i go to my computer and double click on the G drive (the USB thumbdrive i plugged in) it says " G:/ Access is Denied". I have to right click on it and press explore to open.

I suspect it is a virus; everyone in my class has this problem after we plugged our thumbdrives into the school's computers.

A folder named 'RECYCLER' popped up as soon as the thumbdrive was plugged in. And when i plugged in my thumbdrive into my personal computer the antivirus detected virus from that folder and quarantined it.

Now what should i do? even after i have deleted the virus from the quarantine vault my thumbdrive still has the same problem.

anyone can help me?

I would inform your school that they have viruses on their computers. Have other people who have been infected sign something stating they were also infected. Take this and in writing inform the school that you want them to cover your damages nd demand they put in proper safeguards to ensure this doesn't happen again.

If your antivirus is unable to clean the file it may be corrupted beyond repair. If you know the exact name of the virus you can do a search on the major vendor websites like mcafee and symantec and they will usually have manual removal instructions.

Good luck.
