What do you think?
I know it's wrong. Killing babies, innocents. They litterally burn the babies inside the womb. They cut them apart!
And most of all the Bible says it's wrong!
Who agrees? Or disagrees for that matter.

Yes, the Bible says no murder.
But, with war it's different. When somebody attacks your territory. (9/11 attacks) Then, the country attacked is allowed to go to war. As long as you don't pick the fight, it's ok.

I don't believe in abortion. The only reason I think someone should have on is IF and ONLY IF it was threatening the life of the baby and mother. Ultimately it is the woman's choice. It's her body, she can do what she wants to it.
Oh, and to the person who said that you can't kill something that isn't alive - just because it's a fetus and remains a fetus until it is born doesn't mean it isn't alive. It is alive from the day it was conceived, which means you have an abortion you're murdering a unborn child.
If someone gets pregnant and wants to have an abortion, then maybe they should change their ways - stop having sex or use more than one type of birth control. That will prevent an unwanted pregnancy. If they still get pregnant, that baby was given to them for a reason so they need to give that baby a chance to live. They could one day change the world.

Why oh why would you start this....
Your never going to be able to read all these posts you know...
Well, let me ask you a question in return,
Do you think its wrong that overpopulation is going to result in a Seven Billion World Population in Six Years From Now
and that 1/3 of the population growth in the world is the result of incidental or unwanted pregnancies.
Do you think its right that we
* 600,000 square miles of forest cut in the last ten years
* 26,000,000,000 tons of topsoil lost
* 88 nations classified by the UN World Food Program as unable to provide enough food for their inhabitants
* 960 million illiterate people; 130 million children lacking access to primary schooling
* the world's population increasing by nearly 100 million people per year
In 2000, the unemployment rate of workers age 25 and over with a:
* master's degree was 1.6%;
* bachelor's degree was 1.8%;
* associate degree was 2.3%;
* some college, no degree was 2.9%;
* high school diploma was 3.5%; and
* some high school, but no diploma was 6.5%.
Why don't we start asking ourselves why it is we are doing a HORRIBLE JOB in raising the children we have and taking care of the people who need it, rather than arguing about other crap.
Yes I believe in abortion, no I do not believe it is right to use as a form of birth control or to have it done when the baby is more than a speck.
But opinions are like ***holes... everyone has one, and most people will say that everyone else has one that stinks.
I think we should start educating our children, teaching them better. Stop fighting with these people who get abortions and put your energy into your own children. Then perhaps this next generation will be smart enough to use contraceptives and there wont be any need for abortion.
Fight it that way

you're extremely ignorant. first off, saline abortions haven't been used since the ninetees. second, the most common procedure is vacuum aspiration. at this point in the pregnancy, the fetus is incapable of feeling pain and because of the lack of calcified bones and a body like gellatin, the fetus is liquified anyhow. third, religion and religious texts do not belong in this issue. last of all, abortions don't involve babies.
get a clue.

When your 11 yr old daughter is raped by your 32 year old brother causing her to become pregnant and the doctor tells you carrying the baby full term could ruin her ability to have children of her own when she is older..you get back to me on your thoughts of abortions..
Or when your wife is told that if she tries to carry the baby full term she will mostly likely die..
the world is not black and white..all you people need to step back and take a look at reality...

Abortion is not just a black and white thing. There are hazy gray areas too. A woman that is raped should not have to carry her attacker's child if she chooses not to. A woman fighting cancer that already has other children to raise should have the choice whether to terminate her pregnancy or not in order to have chemo. Chemo can damage the fetus, and if the mom refuses treatments she risks not being around to see her kids grow up.

The never ending debate (along with spanking). I believe it is wrong in all circumstances except when the pregnancy is life threatening to the mother, not just a health risk but truly life threatening or in some cases of rape. I know some women who have kept their babies when they were raped and they never regretted it for a second because it's the only beautiful thing that comes from a rape and it's not the baby's fault their father was a sick bastard.

I will only agree with Abortion if the child was conceived by Incest or Rape! Its really up to the mother its her body! But I am against doing it and I never would be able to- To each their own-
My doctor was saying in other states you can have an abortion past 18 weeks. Im TOTALLY Against that!

Yes! I agree it's wrong, but I really wish people would stop bringing this subject up in the pregnancy section. This is supposed to be a place for us Pregnant women to rejoice together, and ask questions about our pregnancy issues. Not a place to talk about Murder.

I believe that it is wrong. Not because the bibles says so, just because having read up on the subject, I disagree with it.
However, I would never condem someone who had one. If you a bible believer remember that it says "Judge not lest ye also be judged."

I can only speak for what I would personally do and I would not have an abortion ever. But other people have different beliefs and circumstances and it is their decision. For me it is wrong! But as for a fetus not being alive- I am 14wks pg and he/she is definately alive. It has a heartbeat and is growing and LIVING inside me.
