Don't rappers have a short popularity span anyway? I'm sure if I thought about it, I could name at least five rappers who don't seem to be around anymore.

I am glad that Kanye wiped the floor with 50. I am not a big fan of Kanye and I have met him on a few occasions (work related) and he is a very arrogant and conceited person. His views on women and "there place" are appalling. Now is he the next Ja Rule hell no. Ja Rule is one of the problems with hip hop. His little songs he came out with back in the day were okay. Mostly radio songs that people could sing along with and had basic beats so anyone could dance to them. Smart move on his part cuz that made him some money at that time. To bad he did not invest well and is almost broke now. Kanye on the other hand can produce. And in my eyes he is a much better producer than rapper. The work he did on commons album was great. The stuff he did for Jay I loved. I think he should stick with that.
I hope people do start to come at him in some songs. He has never had a real beef where they are going song for song that I would like to see/hear. Kanye is loving his little 15 minutes of fame but it will soon die down. Give it some time you will see.

OK Kanye is big headed and there is no way in hell he would ever be the next Ja Rule. If you listen to the song on his CD called "Big Brother" he knows who's the best and that's Jay-Z. He admits that when he thought he had achieved the stature of being the best on his Diamonds are forever Remix, Jay-Z put a verse on there that shut him up. He is forever cocky and that's part of why people like him. He is no different from anyone else in the business who goes all out to look the best or sound the best. And yes Kanye is in at least the top15 rappers out today with his music and rhyme skills. I dont think that he will lose his fan base cause the throws tantrums, hes been doing that for years and yet he still has so many fans. Kanye knows his place he is just upset at the fact that bullshit music over the years has beaten his music out at award shows when they probably should not have. His 1st 3 albums have been as good or better than anyone you can think of since his first release College Dropout.

Ja Rule was wack
He couldn't rap
All he could do was sing the chorus
Kanye West is no longer cocky this guy is full blow arrogant! I can't wait until someone knocks him back down to Earth! His ego is so big its mentally unhealthy. Kanye is not the greatest musician. He rarely puts together a homemade beat. Its nothing but samples. To call himself the greatest is not only arrogant its ignorant

Kanye West is nothing but a theiving piece of rubbish. I mean think about it, as you pointed out... he's a big headed idiot too used to bigging himself up. Yet all of his successful songs arn't even his. Stronger, Diamonds, Gold Digger and Jesus Walks are the songs that made him big, yet the only classy bits in these tunes are the samples he nicked from other bands. He's made money out of stealing music from artists like Sierra Leone and Daft Punk and then just put a crap attempt at rap over the top of it and it sells. He's got big out of other peoples music... pees me off. He's just a thief. Thanks for bringing the point up man, alot of his fans need to hear what you're saying. Peace

i doubt that Kanye's actually got some talent plenty more than Ja Rule could ever hope to have. I can't even remember what Ja's last hit was...

Kanye not popular? Are you kidding me? That'll never happen. He doesn't need anyone else's help - he's the greatest on his own....just ask him.
I can't stand Kanye and I can't stand Ja Rule, so in that aspect, yes.

I dont think so, people say Kanye changed there life. Nobody says that Ja changed there life, he just made fun songs, no meaning. Also Kanye can still produce so he also has that on Ja.
