I think it is smart to just make sure you have something that can control your cramps and don't let your period stop you. Keep exercising and make sure you are eating healthy so when it comes you will feel little pain. Just think of the symptoms u feel when your period is going on and research on how u can prevent all that from happening.
You will enjoy your vacation!

There is a pill you can get from your doctor that will stop your period for the time that you go on holiday. (Its not the pill). I took it before I went on the pill. Otherwise there is no way of delaying it. Sorry x

go to your doctor and get tablets called Ultovan, start taking them 3 days before your period is due, take them 3 times a day at equal intervals until you want to have your period then the period should appear within 2/3 days.ignore all these people tellin u to go on the pill, you dont have to do that at all to delay your period.hope this helps

Go to your doctor and ask him/her for tablets that delay your period. I have used them before and they are perfectly safe. You need to start taking them 2/3 days before your period and then for 3 times a day every day until you want to stop using them. Once you have stopped taking them your period appears within 2/3 days. Even if your period starts early and you have not started taking these pills, just start taking them for 3 times a day and your period should stop whilst you go on holiday. I'm sure you will be fine. Best of luck x

I'm sorry, there is no way to delay it without medication! Although you are not on the pill, you can go to the doctors who would be able to prescribe it to you. I also know someone who was prescribed tablets to delay her period but it was not the contraceptive pill. Best thing to do is go to the doctors and see what they suggest!
Good luck =]

Your GP can give you a tablet - a progesterone like in the mini pill- that you take 3 times a day until you're back at home. It usually works but can cause some bloating. You must start it before your period starts.

If you did start the pill the doctor would tell you to wait till your next period before taking the first one so that would be pointless. Nothing can be done just make sure you have Tampax
