I could care less if they believe in God or not. It's completely irrelevant. The only thing I care about is that they make lousy music and look like a bunch of preening dorks.

I'm gonna have to agree with the others that say it doesn't matter. I listen to a long list of artists that have religious and political beliefs that definitely differ from mine. But I don't care, it's all about the music. I don't care what musician is dating who, where they buy their groceries, and what they do on the weekend. I only care about the quality of their music and that's how everyone should look at their favorite groups.

And to karin...if the band says "GD" a lot in their songs, wouldn't that make it MORE likely that they believe in God since they're acknowledging him?

YES BELIEVE ME THEY DO!
Brendon, Ryan, and Spencer all went to christian schools and Ryan talks about god in interviews all the time. Brendon is a mormon (not a scrict one anymore though). They also have a song called "Build God, Then We'll Talk". I'm obsessed with them and know everything about them. So believe me!

Not sure, not a fan either. But does it matter? If you're a christian and they are atheists and they make music you like does it matter?

I know that after I heard their music, I became an atheist. God would not allow this to happen.
