We are the Peoples Lobby and we have taken your turtle as our hostage. Here are our demands. 1. 20 % of the UK must defrost their freezers by Saturday. 2. 50 % must not watch Ant and Dec on Saturday. 3. Lots of fresh fish preferably Oak Smoked Haddock. 4 £20 in used five pound notes. If our demands are not met by 10 pm on Saturday we will send you his shell and a further list of demands. Long live the Peoples Lobby. X

He took the opportunity while you were away to visit his cousins in Japan ( ninjas ) ! He is coming back but hasn't said when. To be honest I think he was a bit peeved because you abandoned him for five weeks !

Yes. I am so sorry. It took me so darn long to break his shell but he sure made some great soup. I still have some left in the fridge if you want me to send you his remains.

He's not really gone, he's just playing hide n' seek again. He's pulled his head into his shell and he's posing as a rock.

Leave him alone, and he'll come home, wagging his tail behind him.

It might take another five weeks, though.
